Toni's RR finished

Toni's RR piece's are very small (actually smaller than mine, which i didn't think was possible) LOL. These were so much fun to stitch, very quick and satisfying and now i need to get this chart! Here are the 2 i did with the charms/beads attached.



Also, here is a finish of my own this week, it is Dog House sampler by LHN. The buttons i added, there is a big dog bone that is suppose to be stitched but i didn't want to stitch all that white. LOL this was one of my UFO's so that makes me really happy! thought i would share with you all.

Shelleen - I got your piece

I received your piece last week in the mail - Thursday or Friday. I have my pattern picked out and I've already started stitching. I'm hoping to get more stitched on it today if I can. Hopefully it'll go pretty fast. I'll posty a picture when I'm done if you'd like.

Karen in NY are you ready

for another RR? I have already finished Toni's. Like mine, they are quite small. I stitched 2 in one night. I will need to get that pattern, very cute ornaments.

I got your rr today. Boy that was fast! Are you sure you want us to only stitch 2 squares? That would leave you with 10 to do when it came home. After all the green block stitching you did for us, I can at least stitch three squares for you.

I mailed mine out this morning, Priority so it should be there in a couple of days.  I did some quick last minute notes and packaging, let me know if I missed anything or if anything is confusing or unclear.

My RR going out tomorrow

Hi All! Karen it will be in tomorrow's mail to you (Sat 2/9/08 priority) I finally got mine ready to go (minus a few of the squares). I stitched the majority of them for the alphabet but got sooooo tired of the green so some of them still need the border stitched. You can stitch the ones that are already there or if you feel like it the other ones as well. They are all 26x26 so they are small. I will post a pic a little later of what i have done so far. Also, I have also enclosed another small piece of fabric for everyone to stitch their name and state on (pic for this one as well). I stitched "The Society" at the top then my name just follow along with your name. I am going to have this piece made into a wall hanging and am having this piece of fabric with everyone's name on it sewn into the backing fabric.

Sandy -- My RR will get mailed tomorrow (Saturday). Was planning to have mailed it by yesterday but I have not been able to get away from work long enough to get to the post office.

Also to Sandy -- Would you like me to include some padded envelopes for your use in future mailings? :-)

Sharon -- I received your RR package yesterday. Gee that fabric looks familiar. I'll decide which square I'm stitching this weekend.

Another 5 1/2 hours or so of work and the weekend begins. WooHoo!!!!!!!!

I didn't make it to the Post Office last night . . .

We had sleet and freezing rain on my way home from work - it took me 1-1/2 hours to go 13 miles . . . and today it's snowing like crazy - we are expected to get 12 inches on top of the 8 or 10 we already have - oh, joy! Needless to say, I decided to work from home today. I have a wonderful boss (who is traveling out of town) who usually suggests that I work from home when we have weather like this - he knows I'm just a wimp driving in bad snowy weather.

Anyway, I'm hoping to get the to the post office tomorrow with my RR - KarenAZ - I'll keep you posted!

I got mine out on time but....

it almost didn't survive the trip. Why do I have problems with the US Postal service? I even taped the top and bottom of the envelope to make sure nothing came out of there. But it appears that it came out the side! :0

I'm going to have to take Ruth up on her offer for some envelopes. :) :)

And I mailed my rr to Shelleen this afternoon. I stayed home from work today to get it done. LOL! I am always behind.

OK - I didn't get as far as I hoped to but here it is. Can you believe I screwed up the count on the border for February? Yep! Oh well - I "fixed" it pretty well I think. :) You'd think after 2 math degrees I'd be able to count right with 1 project anyway! LOL
